RAY CO., MO - A teen driver was injured in a single-vehicle crash just outside of Richmond on Sunday night.

According to Northwest Missouri Info, the crash happened at about 11:30 p.m. along Swafford Road just north of MO-10.

Troopers believe the 17-year-old girl lost control of her vehicle when it struck gravel. causing it to veer off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle then struck an embankment before rolling over. 

The driver, whose identity is being withheld at this time, suffered minor injuries in the crash. It is unclear if she was taken to the hospital for treatment.
