KANSAS CITY, MO - A fire truck collided with an SUV and then crashed into a building on Wednesday night, causing at least two deaths, KSHB reports. 

 

The accident occurred on Broadway Boulevard near Westport Road around 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday night. 

 

The two vehicles collided as the fire truck traveled north on Broadway with its lights and sirens on. The force of the collision sent both vehicles spinning into a nearby building, which then partially collapsed. 

 

A man and woman who were in the SUV have been confirmed dead. A third victim, a pedestrian who may have become caught in the rubble, is also feared dead. 

 

Further details on the cause of the crash are not currently available.
