INDEPENDENCE, MO - A woman was killed when her motorcycle collided with an SUV in Independence on Sunday morning.
According to a report by Fox 4 KC, the driver of a Lincoln Navigator was turning into a parking lot on Noland Road north of US-40 when the SUV struck the female motorcyclist.
The 24-year-old woman was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later. Police say she was wearing a helmet when the incident occurred.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash. It is unclear if the driver of the SUV will face any charges at this time.
