MENDON, MO - Four people were killed and 150 were sent to area hospitals after a train collided with a dump truck and derailed near Mendon on Monday.
According to Fox 4 Kansas City, the train was passing through Mendon in route to Chicago when it crashed into the dump truck that was stopped in the railroad crossing.
The train then derailed, tipping over on its side.
Four people, including the dump truck's driver, were killed in the wreck. 150 additional victims were hospitalized with various injuries.
