KANSAS CITY, MO - One person was killed and two others were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash on the Ward Parkway Saturday night.
According to a report by Fox 4, the driver of a GMC Terrain pulled in front of a Volkswagen Passat near the intersection with West 67th Terrace at about 9:30 p.m.
The driver of the Volkswagen was unable to stop in time and ended up striking the GMC. The force of the impact caused the GMC to overturn and strike a light pole.
An unidentified female passenger in the rear seat of the GMC was ejected in the crash. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she died a short time later.
Both the driver and a second passenger in the GMC were also hospitalized in serious condition. The driver and passenger in the Volkswagen were uninjured.
