BLUE SPRINGS, MO - Two-vehicles were involved in a collision on I-70 caused by icy conditions on Saturday afternoon, the MSHP reports.

The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-70 near MO-7 around 4 p.m. on Saturday.

A 23-year-old woman was driving a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe when she lost control of her vehicle due to the icy roads. Her SUV then struck a 2020 Cascadia driven by a 33-year-old man from North Carolina.
