RAY COUNTY, MO - An accident in Ray County left one person injured on Friday morning, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  

 

The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of Mo-13 near Route D, around 7:25 a.m. A 44-year-old man driving a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier crossed out of his lane and struck the rear of a 2018 Dodge Ram 3500, driven by a 28-year-old woman.  

 

The man driving the Cavalier was not wearing a seatbelt and suffered moderate injuries. He was transported to Richmond Medical for treatment. No further update on his condition is available. 

 

The woman driving the Ram was uninjured. No information on why the Cavalier left its lane has been reported.
