JOHNSON COUNTY, MO - A driver was killed when his pickup truck crashed in Johnson County Thursday evening, state troopers said.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's accident report from Troop A, the incident happened on Route E just west of Missouri 23 at about 6:30 p.m.
The driver of a 2022 Ram 2500 was headed east when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway and struck several trees before coming to rest.
The motorist, a 31-year-old man from Concordia, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers said he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.
