KANSAS CITY, MO - Two people were sent to the hospital after a rear-end crash on I-29 in northwest Kansas City on Monday evening.
According to a report by the MSHP, the crash took place in the southbound lanes of the interstate, just before the US-169 interchange at about 7:50 p.m.
Troopers say a 2010 Chevrolet hydroplaned on the roadway and struck the rear of a 2021 Toyota.
The driver of the Toyota, a 47-year-old woman, was taken to North Kansas City Hospital with moderate injuries. The Chevrolet's driver, a 19-year-old man, was transported to Liberty Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
