JOPLIN, MO - Power outages were reported after a rollover collision knocked down a utility pole in Newton County Thursday afternoon.
According to KOAM, the crash occurred at about 3:30 p.m. along Apricot Road, just west of the Greenwood Baptist Church.
Troopers say the SUV was heading west on Apricot Rd. when it left the roadway for unknown reasons, overturned, and broke off at least one utility pole.
We do not know at this time if anyone was injured in the crash. However, power was knocked out to more than 450 residents and businesses in the area due to the downed power pole.
