SPRING HILL, KS - A truck driver was killed in an accident on US-169 near Spring Hill on Tuesday morning, Fox 4 KC reports. 


The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of US-169 near Ten Mile Creek around 10 a.m. on Tuesday. 


The 59-year-old driver lost control of his truck and entered the center median before crossing over into oncoming traffic and crashing into a tree. His truck avoided colliding with any other vehicles as he crossed the northbound lanes. 


He was not wearing a seatbelt and was killed at the scene. Investigations into the cause of the crash are still ongoing.
