JOHNSON COUNTY, MO - A driver was seriously injured in a collision with a truck in Johnson County Wednesday morning, state troopers said.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol released an accident report on the incident that occurred on Missouri 13 at NW 1000th Road at about 6 a.m.
The MSHP said a 29-year-old man was driving a 2014 Ford Focus southbound when he struck the towed unit of a 2014 Kenworth. The Ford driver, a resident of Warrensburg, was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported. The Ford was totaled and was towed away from the scene.
