SALINE COUNTY, MO - A driver was hospitalized after her vehicle was involved in a collision in Saline County on Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued a crash report on the incident that occurred on southbound U.S. 65 near Keokuk Avenue shortly after 5 p.m.

According to state troopers, the driver of a 2014 Ford truck driven by a 75-year-old woman failed to yield and traveled into the path of a 2020 Ford SUV, causing a collision.

The driver of the SUV, a 68-year-old woman from Marshall, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by a private party for treatment.  She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the MSHP said.
