12 Months of Giving

At Foster Wallace Personal Injury Lawyers, we are passionate about giving back to our local community. Inspired by the success of our 12 Days of Giving campaign during the holiday season, we are excited to introduce an even larger initiative: 12 Months of Giving. Throughout 2026, we will donate $3,000 each month to organizations that make a positive impact on our community and the lives of those within it.

But we need your help, as there are so many deserving organizations across the metro. Please use the nomination form below to recommend a local nonprofit that is meaningful to you. Winners will be announced each month in the “2026 Winners” section of this page and on all of our social media channels. Be sure to follow along to watch for the nomination window opening and winning announcements. Together, let’s continue making our community a better place.

At Foster Wallace Personal Injury Lawyers, our 12 Months of Giving initiative is all about recognizing the people and organizations showing up for our neighbors in meaningful ways. This month, we’re proud to support Isla Cares Foundation as our April recipient.

Isla Cares Foundation was created from a deeply personal experience, inspiring a mission rooted in compassion and care for families facing pediatric cancer. Today, they serve Kansas City families by providing thoughtfully curated care packages and moments of encouragement when they’re needed most.

Their work helps ease some of the emotional and everyday burdens families face during treatment, bringing comfort and support during incredibly challenging times. Each package is a reminder that families are seen, supported, and not alone in their journey.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Isla Cares Foundation and help shine a light on the impact they’re making across Kansas City.

Through initiatives like their Summer Hot Meal Delivery Program and Winter Care Project, M.U.F.F.I.N. helps ensure children continue to receive consistent support, even when school-based resources are unavailable.

What makes M.U.F.F.I.N. especially impactful is the community of mothers behind it, coming together to serve, support, and uplift families across Kansas City. Their grassroots approach allows them to respond quickly to needs while building meaningful connections with those they serve.

We’re honored to support M.U.F.F.I.N. and the difference they are making in the lives of families throughout our community.
