DEEPWATER, MO - State troopers said the driver of a semi-truck was killed in a rollover accident in Henry County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report, the incident happened on Missouri 52 Highway east of County Road SW near Deepwater.
Investigators said a 51-year-old man was driving westbound in a 1999 Peterbilt shortly before 12:30 p.m. when the truck went off the right side of the roadway. When the driver overcorrected, the semi returned to the roadway and overturned.
The driver, a resident of Richards, Missouri, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.
